In
a nation filled with celebrity worship, that bases entire 30-minute
television programs on the wardrobe of this pop star or that one
and even gathers other pop stars to comment on said pop star's wardrobe,
God bless the National Enquirer. While other seemingly legitimate
magazines cow to the celebrities in hopes of interviews or possible
cover stories, the Enquirer not only publishes whatever dirt
they can find on them but does so accompanied with the only most
atrocious headlines and phonographs. Though gets a bad rap by many
people as being low brow. I salute the rag. It's the only one that
refuses to lay itself down at the alter of celebrity. |
